Digital and Social Media Manager – Department of Overseas Relations
The Israeli Reform Movement (IMPJ) is the umbrella organization of the communities and institutions of Reform Judaism in Israel. The movement operates in a variety of significant arenas in Israeli society and in the Diaspora, and in recent years has been expanding and growing significant initiatives in the field of Israeli Jewry, in the public and ideological arena in Israel, and at the same time is an influential and central factor in fostering and strengthening the relationship between Diaspora Jewry and the State of Israel
In response to current needs and growth of the Department of Diaspora Relations, the IMPJ is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager in a hybrid work model
Key responsibilities and tasks
Implement IMPJ’s English-language digital and social media strategy, in collaboration with the Department of Overseas Relations
Manage and maintain IMPJ’s English social media assets: Facebook, Instagram (including posts, reels, stories), TikTok, and YouTube channels, covering both technical and content
Create, oversee, and edit consistent content across social media platforms, including sourcing and curating relevant material
Promote content and campaigns designed to drive high levels of user engagement
Document events and share them across relevant digital platforms
Develop creative concepts and design visuals in Canva
Work according to a monthly content plan
Position Requirements
Team player
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) and on-line campaigns
Excellent English writing skills, specifically for social media
Strong photography and video editing skills
Full command of Canva and video editing software, including subtitle embedding
Familiarity with WORDPRESS and digital platform analytics tools – advantage
Native-level English – spoken and written; good command of Hebrew
Familiarity and Identification with the mission, vision and goals of the Reform Movement – advantage
Terms of position
Ø Half time: flexible hours – required
Ø Office location: Jerusalem, hybrid.
Ø Start date: immediate.

תחומי אחריות ומשימות מרכזיות
- הוצאה לפועל של אסטרטגיית דיגיטל תנועתית באנגלית, בהנחיית מח׳ קשרי חוץ.
- ניהול יומיומי ותחזוקה שוטפת של עמודי פייסבוק, אינסטגרם (פוסטים, רילס וסטוריז), טיקטוק, יוטיוב תנועתיים באנגלית – ברמה טכנית ותוכנית
- יצירה ועריכה של תוכן בעל ערך, כתוב ומצולם, המיועד לעמודי הסושיאל והמדיה הדיגיטלית של התנועה
- קידום תכנים וקמפיינים במדיה החברתית המייצרים מעורבות גולשים גבוהה
- תיעוד אירועים ופרסומם בנכסים הרלוונטיים
- פיתוח רעיונות קריאייטיב
- עיצובים בקאנבה
- עבודה לפי גאנט חודשי
כישורים נדרשים
- יכולת עבודה בצוות
- שליטה מלאה בתפעול שוטף של דפי פייסבוק, אינסטגרם, טיקטוק ויוטיוב. וורדפרס – יתרון
- יכולת כתיבה מצויינת באנגלית, מותאמת מדיה חברתית
- יכולת צילום ועריכת סרטונים גבוהה
- שליטה מלאה בתוכנת קאנבה ותוכנות לעריכת סרטונים, כולל הטמעת כתוביות
- ידע בכלים אנליטיים של הפלטפורמות הדיגיטליות – יתרון
- אנגלית – שפת אם, עברית – ברמה טובה.
- היכרות והזדהות עם ערכי התנועה הרפורמית – יתרון.
תנאי המשרה
Ø חצי משרה: שעות עבודה גמישות
