Ramot Shalom, Beer Sheva

The Ramot Shalom community is a vibrant center for Israeli and Jewish culture that is home to families and individuals of all walks of life and of all ages. We hold musical Shabbat receptions and celebrate the Israeli holidays in events designed for the whole family, combining ancient Jewish traditions with contemporary Israeli culture. We prepare boys and girls for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, conduct canopy ceremonies, hold diverse study frameworks for adults as well as study for conversion. We work in cooperation with municipal authorities in Be’er Sheva and work together for the environment and society in a variety of ways, to promote the values ​​of equality and mutual guarantee and foster relationships with communities in the Diaspora as well. The community operates a parent and child space which is a center for young families and includes a variety of activities to encourage a healthy lifestyle, value education and community support. The congregation is led by Rabbi Myra Hovav.
