Mevaskehi Derech was established in Hanukkah 1962 in Jerusalem as an independent community that advocates egalitarianism and an open approach to Judaism. In 1999, the community joined the movement for progressive Judaism in Israel. The community has a deep affinity for religious values ​​and Israeli tradition with a commitment to humane and democratic values. While we respect the past, we seek to adapt our way to modern life.
