The Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), the public and legal advocacy arm of the Israel Movement for Progressive and Reform Judaism, is one of the leading organizations working to secure civil and human rights in Israel from a progressive Jewish position. IRAC works to advance freedom of and from religion, equal status for progressive Judaism, racial equality, women’s and LGBTQ rights, the rights of converts and immigrants and to protect Israel’s democracy.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Grant & Reporting Management
-Writing – LOIs, proposals, reports and other materials
-Managing the organization’s submission calendar and tracking income from donors
-Foundation research
-Building and maintaining donor relationships
-Crowdfunding campaign building
Public relations, media and social media assistance, events
-Develop, write and edit content for IRAC’s weekly newsletter
-Coordinate IRAC’s social media presence, including content development
-Translate, edit and write opinion content
-Maintain contact with English language media
-Engage with visiting groups, congregations, rabbis
-Engage with external suppliers and others for fundraising events & projects
Position Requirements:
-Excellent writing skills in English
-Grant writing and foundation research experience (preferred)
-Eagerness to develop new skills
-Ability to work both independently and in a team
-Ability to pursue multiple tasks in an effective, organized manner
-Identifies with the values of the organization
-Native-level English – spoken and written
-High-level Hebrew – spoken (written – a plus)
This position reports to the Director of Resource Development and engages with staff across the organization
Full-time position
Start date – immediate, with flexibility
IRAC's Offices are located in Jerusalem; IRAC staff enjoy flexibility with respect to hybrid work arrangements
